 \n\nMany of you may be familiar with "Tex\," who was active in the Hudson 
 community for many years.  Upon his passing\, his family found the 
 manuscript he had written decades earlier.  With passion and 
 determination\, they had his book published.  In this presentation\, you 
 will hear some of that passion from his daughter\, Laura Pointer\, as she 
 reads from his book and shares some of his stories.  You'll hear of racism 
 and heartache\, and how one man dealt with it.  \n\nLaura will be happy to 
 answer any questions you may have.  She will also have copies of the book 
 available to purchase for $10 each.\n\n
