Your ancestor's occupation can tell you so much about their day-to-day life.  In this presentation you will:
  • Learn how occupational information can advance your research 
  • Learn how to find your ancestor’s occupation.
  • Learn sources of occupational information/records
  • Review examples of occupational records and how the information they contained enriched the ancestor’s story
A lover of history and genealogy Diane has been researching her family history for over 30 years.  A Member of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants her areas of research interest include WW1, Occupations, New England, Pennsylvania, Ireland, Scotland & Poland.  She has given presentations for genealogy clubs in the Boston Metro area and for the Western Massachusetts Genealogical Society.
