Austen Book Club: Emma, by Jane Austen Online
ONLINE EVENT. Whether you're new to Jane Austen or an avid Janeite, you'll have fun in this inclusive group for all who love Jane Austen. The group meets online the second Wednesday of the month.
• This Month's Selection: Emma, by Jane Austen • Emma Woodhouse is one of Austen's most captivating and vivid characters. Beautiful, spoilt, vain and irrepressibly witty, Emma organizes the lives of the inhabitants of her sleepy little village and plays matchmaker with devastating effect. Join us to talk about the story, the characters, the plot - and also learn why its form and technique revolutionized fiction.
