Cookbook Club: Apples!

Cookbook Club: Apples!

Love to cook and bake? Join us as we sample and discuss recipes from popular cookbooks and food themes! Prepare a recipe from this month's topic, then engage with others about your recipe adventures. And of course, lots of food tastings included!

For our meeting on Wednesday September 11th at 11:30am, prepare and share a recipe from The Apple Cookbook, by Olwen Woodier. Book copies are available at the Circulation Desk! Register below and tell us which dish you are making to avoid duplicates.

RECIPES ALREADY CHOSEN: (Please do not duplicate): Apple, Dried Fruit and Israeli Couscous Salad, Fall Fruit Relish, Apple, Sausage & Cheese Strata, Applesauce Brownies, Apple Doughnuts, Beef & Apple Deep Dish Pie, Polish Sausage, Apples & Red Cabbage, Apple Coffee Cake

From the publisher: From sweet to savory and from breakfast to bedtime, apples take center stage in this fun volume. With recipes ranging from traditional apple pies and crisps to unexpected surprises like Ground Lamb Kebabs with Apple Mint Raita, this new edition of the best-selling classic has been completely revised and redesigned to feature more than 30 new apple-themed goodies. With plenty of vegan and gluten-free options, you’ll be cooking apple-based dishes that you can enjoy with all of your friends.
