For the Cookbook Club's May 8th meeting, prepare and share a recipe from a cookbook relating to Pickity Place!

Pickity Place is a popular restaurant and gift shop located on beautiful grounds in Mason NH which specializes in herb gardening for food preparation, crafts, etc.  A visit to Pickity Place is always a memorable experience!

Choose a recipe from one of the 3 cookbooks that we will highlight for this event: The Pickity Place Cookbook, The Pickity Place Cookbook Vol. 3, or Country Herb Cooking....all by Judith (Judy) Walter.  We ask that you check out only one of these books at a time in order to save copies for others.  Please also note that some duplicate recipes are featured among these books.

We will additionally feature Being Pickity by Wendy Walter, the daughter of Pickity Place founders David and Judith Walter.  Being Pickity is also available for checkout in addition to one of the above cookbooks if you so choose.

WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT WENDY WALTER WILL BE ABLE TO JOIN US FOR THIS EVENT AT THE LIBRARY!!!  Wendy will be signing and have copies for sale of both her book and those of her mother.  At some point during our food tasting, she will give a brief talk about what it was like to "grow up Pickity" and will happily answer any questions.    

Books are now available for checkout at the Circulation Desk! We will meet in the Community Room for this event, as always.
