Cookbook Club -  Baking Across America In-Person

Love to cook and bake? Join us as we sample and discuss recipes from popular cookbooks and food themes! Prepare a recipe from this month's topic, then engage with others about your recipe adventures.  And of course, lots of food tastings included!

This month we're going to choose any US state or Territory, and use either the cookbook Baking Across America : a Vintage Recipe Road Trip by B. Dylan Hollis, or an online resource (like AtoZ Food America) to make a recipe inspired by that state.  Cookbooks may be limited, so we have another wonderful database that can be used.

For other 'State" related recipes, please visit our database AtoZ Food America  [Outside the library you will be asked to enter your library card number.]    It's a single-source digital library reference that covers regional (6), state (50), and ethnic (35) cuisines for the entire country.  Contains large-scale historical, ingredient, and reference modules of great use to cooks, culinary students, and historians.
