Wood Carving by Owl Eyes Wilderness Survival In-Person
Wood carving is a meditative activity that you can do almost anywhere. Using simple tools: a fixed blade knife, hook knife, saw, and sandpaper, you will be instructed on the techniques of selecting wood, safe carving techniques, and how to care for your new eating utensil. Handmade spoons and forks are usable forms of art that will last for years if carved well and taken care of. You will go home with at a wooden spoon or fork and a whole new skillset!
This event is for middle and high school students ONLY. You must be at least 11 years old and entering 6th-12th grade to participate.
