(Virtual) Genealogy Club: WW1 The Forgotten War - Tips for Researching Ancestors Who Served With US Forces

(Virtual) Genealogy Club: WW1 The Forgotten War - Tips for Researching Ancestors Who Served With US Forces Online

Online via Zoom.  You will receive a link to the meeting when you register.

Presented by Diane Romanosky.

Diane became interested in WW1 after discovering a picture and military documents with her Grand Uncle's name on them.  Join us to get tips on how to determine if your ancestor served in WW1, where to find key information, resources for discovering your ancestor's WW1 story and ways to honor their service.  The presentation will be illustrated with examples from Diane's journey of discovery into her Grand Uncle's WW1 U.S. Army service.

A lover of history and genealogy Diane has been researching her ancestors for over 30 years. Her areas of interest include WW1, New England, Ireland, England, Scotland & Russia/Poland.  She has given presentations for genealogy clubs in the Boston Metro West, Western Massachusetts, Southern New Hampshire areas and for the Norwich, CT WW1 Fund Raising Committee.
