Introduction to Zentangle with Diane MacKinnon In-Person
What is Zentangle? Zentangle is a meditative, abstract art form that anyone can do. If you can write your name, you can do Zentangle. Please join me in this introductory class where we’ll create a tile together using the Zentangle Method. When class is done, not only will you have a piece of art you created, you’ll also have the tools to create your own Zentangle tiles whenever you like.
You can use your own supplies or buy a kit at the event for $10. Supplies needed:
- White Zentangle tile (3.5 in square), OR
- Apprentice tile (4.5 in square), OR
- cardstock cut to a similar size,
- Black micron pen from Sakura, and
- Size 01 or PN (plastic nib) Graphite pencil Tortillon (blending stump
Each $10 kit contains 5 tiles (squares of watercolor paper,) a black Micron pen, a pencil, a tortillon, and examples of Zentangle tiles.
