Beginning Harmonica Workshop In-Person

If the event is full and you don’t have a harmonica, please put your name on the waiting list, we always have several cancellations.
If you have a 10 hole C harmonica (most of the standard beginning harmonicas are this type) that you can bring, you are welcome to attend, even if the event is full. These can be bought for a reasonable price at most music stores, Darrell’s and Guitar Center have some in the $5-$6 range (The instructor for this class is charging wholesale price, $5-$6 is standard retail price for beginning harmonicas).

Virtuoso harmonica player Mike Rogers along with his wife Beverly will teach a beginning harmonica workshop for adults and children ages 9 & up. By the end of the workshop you should be able to play a song or two and have the basic skills to learn more songs on your own.

There is a $3 fee for the harmonica, which you will get to keep! This is the wholesale price, less than half of the standard retail sales price.

Mike and Beverly performed a concert here in January as two thirds of the Mike Rogers Trio and the audience was amazed by what Mike could do with a harmonica. He has recorded on over forty albums and opened for Emmy Lou Harris, Rush, The Eagles, James Montgomery and others. Come learn harmonica from this renowned musician.

Space is limited, registration required to ensure a space, walk-ins accepted on a space available basis.
