Now a critically-received major motion picture (read reviews here and here), "Wonderstruck" by Brian Selznick, whose previous work includes "The Invention of Hugo Cabret" and "The Marvels," tells the story of two deaf children set in different time periods: Rose in 1927 and Ben in 1977. Their stories weave back and forth in Selznick's unique approach, using both words and drawings that narrate these children's spectacular journey.

For girls grades 6-8 and their mothers or maternal caregivers.
