Girls Who Code Summer Camp In-Person
Teen SRP Presents: Girls Who Code Summer Camp!
Meet once a week during the summer and learn to code! Join our 6-week summer camp and create your own projects and learn programming language. Our program is led by a Raytheon software engineer who will lead the girls in an intensive and immersive coding curriculum.
Girls Who Code (GWC) is a national non-profit whose sole aim is to close the gender gap in technology, and with clubs and summer programs located throughout the US, GWC is doing just that. For more information on GWC, click here.
GWC is open to all girls ages 11 and up, and meets weekly on Tuesday evenings (except Tuesday, July 4) for 6 weeks, 6:30-8:30. Light refreshments provided.
The summer meeting schedule is:
- June 27
- July 6 (Thursday)
- July 11
- July 18
- July 25
- August 1
- August 8: Summer Reading Program Finale Ice Cream Social, 2-3:30pm. GWC camp members and their families are invited to come view their summer projects!
